Upon discovering a large bottle opener in the cupholder of a truck that was in the shop for maintenance, mechanics and other onlookers decided that it must be just for sodas.
“I’ll bet this guy really likes a Mexican coke, or one of those nice Virgil’s orange cream guys. There’s no other reason for him to have a bottle opener in here.” opined Jerimiah Washburn, a mechanic at the shop.
“70% of accidents are caused by sober drivers, so it’s statistically improbable that this truck driver was using it for anything else. Plus, those Virgil’s sodas are so good, I would want a few while I’m driving the work truck too. That has to be it” chimed in a customer in the waiting area.
At press time all onlookers were unable to explain the nearly two dozen empty bottles of Michelob Ultra and several rolls of duct tape in the backseat of the truck in question.
